Program Description:

Provides a variety of services for the DTES community.

Overnight Refuge for sleepers 7 days/week

Drop-in for all 7 days/week

Advocacy Intake: Mon, Wed, Fri 9 am - 11 am; Tues and Thurs 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Meals: 8:30 am - soup and coffee; noon - lunch; 6:00 pm - supper; 9:30 pm sandwiches

Emergency Clothing: anytime (if available)

Showers: 8:00 am - 10:30 am (men/women); 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm (men)

Reception: mailing address for over 500 people; free mail out; free faxing; resources; toiletries

Free Phone

Income Taxes: prepared for free for low-income individuals ($18,000 or less for individuals, $25,000 or less for families); from 1999 and up

Healing Touch: Thur at 10 am

Foot Care: Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri  9:00 am - 10:30 am

Basic Literacy Classes: through Vancouver Community College Mon - Thurs

First Aid: Staff are trained to give first aid when needed
