Program Description:

Tradeworks Training Society offers job training and employability skills programs for people who are seeking employment.  The society is supported by federal and provincial funding and by private donations.  Tradeworks has been working with residents of the DTES and East Vancouver since 1994, helping people move from welfare to wellness to work.

-  The Job Shop is an innovative 10-week program that assists you in your job search.  You have the support of employment counsellors who provide one-on-one and group coaching.  If we can make a connection with a suitable employer, The Job Shop might also provide a job placement.  You'll learn how to produce targeted letters and resumes, how to do "cold calls" and develop effective job search and interview skills.

 - Tradeworks Custom Products is a social enterprise./business designed to provide work opportunities and skill development to women in the DTES.
