Helps groups get projects built and provides the training necessary to operate them. Offers workshops, facilitation, and speaker services. Completed housing projects are geared to seniors, persons with disabilities, families with children, mature single women, licensed family child care providers, seniors day care providers, and group home operators.

The Centre provides a link to medical and psychiatric care as well as social, educational, employment and recreational activities. SPARC offers research and consulting services to communities, organizations, and governments on a fee-for-service basis. We work to reduce hazards, create safety, and increase access for the diverse needs of people with disabilities. SPARC's Community Development Institute (CDI) is meeting an important need for training and capacity building in British Columbia. This unique training institute is financially accessible to a wide range of people through its bursary program. is a co-sponsor of CDI. SPARC publishes a variety of reports and handbooks to promote public understanding and discussion of social and economic issues of concern to people in BC communities.
